SMTR - Srivilliputhur - Megamalai Tiger Reserve

Based in Rajapalayam, our operations primarily focus on Virudhunagar District, the Grizzled Squirrel Wildlife Sanctuary, and the Srivilliputhur Meghamalai Tiger Reserve, where most of our studies and events take place. Notable hotspots for our research include Ayyanar Falls, 6th Mile Dam, Senbagathoppu, Sastha Kovil, and Sanjeevi Hills. Over the past decade, we have maintained a comprehensive biodiversity checklist for the taxa we study, including birds, butterflies, odonates, moths, tiger beetles, trees, and ants. The Srivilliputhur Meghamalai Tiger Reserve, located in the Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, is the 51st tiger reserve in India and is renowned for its rich flora and fauna
